DIY (DO IT YOURSELF) NOTES:
Installation can range from easy to moderate depending on your skill and comfort level. No soldering is required for the shell replacement. The process closely resembles replacing the Dreamcast console shell and can be completed with simple tools, along with some time and patience.
However, as with any DIY project, there is no warranty for user error. Please consult a technician if you have any reservations or concerns about the replacement process, as we do not offer any sort of warranty.
